The MRCOOL DIY® 5th Gen E-Star 18,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split Heat Pump System with Ceiling Cassette Air Handler is designed to provide efficient, year-round heating and cooling while maintaining a clean, modern appearance. This complete DIY system includes an outdoor heat pump condenser, a low-profile ceiling cassette indoor unit, and a pre-charged 25-foot QuickConnect® line set that simplifies installation without the need for specialized HVAC tools.

Engineered for energy efficiency, this system delivers up to 21.5 SEER2 performance while using R-454B refrigerant, which supports reduced environmental impact. The ceiling cassette is designed to fit flush between standard ceiling joists, making it an ideal solution for spaces where wall-mounted units are not preferred. It provides consistent air distribution and reliable comfort for areas approximately 750 to 900 square feet.

The ceiling cassette air handler features multiple operating modes, including Fan Only, Quiet, Sleep, and Auto, allowing users to tailor comfort levels to their needs. An elevating air filter design allows for easy maintenance directly from the ceiling without tools. The system is also smart-home ready, supporting Wi-Fi connectivity and voice control compatibility.
