Amaircare 10000 Whole House Replacement Filters

The Amaircare 10000 Whole House Replacement Filters provide replacement filtration options for the Amaircare 10000 Whole House unit. The system was redesigned in 2015, so replacement filters are available in Moulded and Easy Twist styles depending on the manufacturing date of the unit.

For units manufactured before 2015, Moulded filters are required and are not interchangeable with the newer Easy Twist style. Units manufactured after 2015 use Easy Twist filters that lock into place with a groove. Stage 1 prefilters and Stage 3 carbon filters are sold together in annual kits, while Stage 2 HEPA filters are sold separately.

Available configurations include Standard, VOC Plus, Formaldezorb, Ultra VOC, Ultra Formaldezorb, and HEPA options. The annual kits address different filtration needs, while HEPA filters are intended for particulate and allergen filtration and are recommended for replacement every 3–5 years based on usage.

Ultra VOC and Ultra Formaldezorb configurations cannot be used with the HEPA filter.

Important : Please Read

The Amaircare 10000 whole house unit was redesigned in 2015.

• Units manufactured before 2015 will require the moulded filters. Please see picture below. The filters will be open on both ends with a hollow center. The pre filters for these moulded filters will be made of a black carbon fabric.

• Units manufactured after 2015 will require the Easy Twist filters that lock into place by a groove. Please see picture below. The filters will be open on one end and have a metal cap on the other with a picture of arrows that indicate a twisting motion. The pre filters for these easy twist filters will be made of a grey foam material.

How Amaircare sells the 10000 Whole House Replacement Filters

• The stage 1 (pre filter) and stage 3 (carbon filter) are only sold in combination in Annual kits. See change recommendations below.
• The stage 2 (HEPA filter) is sold separately.  Recommended change is every 3-5 years.

Before 2015 : There are only 2 different Moulded Annual Filter kits to choose from. Moulded filters are not interchangeable and you must purchase your hepa and carbon kit all in the moulded style. The ultra kit which is a 30lb carbon is not available in moulded style filters. 

After 2015 : There are 5 different Easy Twist Annual Filter kits to choose from for 5 different needs. The filter kits are interchangeable so any of the kits will work with your unit regardless of which one you have now. Unless you choose an ultra kit which is a 30lb carbon and cannot be used with a hepa.
