Amaircare 2500 Replacement Air Filter

The Amaircare 2500 Filter is designed for the Amaircare 2500 Portable HEPA Air Filtration System, helping maintain its three-stage filtration performance. The 2500 uses a first-stage carbon prefilter, second-stage HEPA filter, and third-stage carbon filtration to address airborne particles, odors, and chemical pollutants.

The available filter configuration includes carbon filtration components designed specifically for the legacy 2500 system. The 8-inch M Plus Annual Kit includes three Stage One filters made from 1/4-inch non-woven polyester media imbued with activated carbon, a Stage Three granulated carbon VOC canister housed in a steel mesh enclosure, and a replacement O-ring/gasket.

Amaircare recommends replacing the Stage One carbon filters every four months and the Stage Three VOC canister annually or when a noticeable increase in odors occurs. The 2500's HEPA cartridge should be checked periodically and replaced when the outer surface of the filter media becomes dark.

Moulded Filters vs Easy Twist Filters

The Amaircare 2500 portable floor model unit was redesigned in 2015.

• Units manufactured before 2015 will require the moulded filters. Please see picture below of Amaircare 2500 Filter Replacement. The filters will be open on both ends with a hollow center. The pre filters for these moulded filters will be made of a black carbon fabric.

Units manufactured after 2015 will require the Easy Twist filters that lock into place by a groove. Please see picture below. The filters will be open on one end and have a metal cap on the other with a picture of arrows that indicate a twisting motion. The pre filters for these easy twist filters will be made of a grey foam material

How Amaircare sells the filters

• The stage 1 (prefilter) and stage 3 (carbon filter) are only sold in combination in Annual kits.
• The stage 2 (HEPA filter) is sold separately.  Recommended change is every 3-5 years.

The are 3 different Annual filter kits to choose from for 3 different needs with the Amaircare 2500 Filter Replacement. Stage 3 filter type is interchangeable so any of the kits will work with your unit regardless of which one you have now.
