The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Replacement Filter is a complete replacement filter set for the standard-size HealthMate Plus HM450 air purifier. The set includes a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and 15 lbs of activated VOC carbon. It does not fit the smaller Junior-size models.

The 4-stage filtration system begins with large- and medium-particle pre-filters that capture dust, hair, pet dander, mold spores, and pollen. The third stage uses activated carbon, potassium iodide-impregnated carbon, and zeolite to reduce VOCs, formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases, and odors.

The fourth stage contains 60 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA filtration, removing 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger and 99% of particles 0.1 microns and larger. The filter is designed to last up to five years under normal residential conditions.

The HealthMate Plus replacement filter fits standard-size Austin Air units built after August 1995. Standard-size Austin Air filters are interchangeable, allowing a compatible standard-size purifier to be upgraded with the HealthMate Plus filter.
