Description

Town & Country TC42 Direct Vent Fireplace

The Town & Country TC42 Direct Vent Fireplace is the flagship model that helped introduce the clean-face fireplace category. Its large disappearing ceramic glass and flush hearth create a wide, unobstructed view of dynamic flames while providing the refined appearance of a traditional wood-burning fireplace.

The TC42 features Town & Country's Design-A-Fire system, allowing compatible burner and firebox panel options to be combined for a customized appearance. It operates with natural gas or propane and features electronic ignition that can convert to a standing pilot at the push of a button, with battery backup for operation during power outages.

Designed for flexible installation, the TC42 can be installed up to 110 feet from an exterior wall when optional power venting is used. It provides a 1,397-square-inch viewing area, 61,000 BTU/hr maximum input, and Smart Home Control System compatibility. An optional Heat Transfer Cool Wall System is also available for applications requiring reduced wall surface temperatures.
