The Ventis HES170 is a medium-sized wood burning stove designed for heating spaces from 500 to 1,800 square feet. Its pedestal design, single glass door with cast iron frame, and black finish provide a durable and traditional appearance, while the 1.9 cubic foot firebox accommodates logs up to 18 inches long.

The HES170 uses non-catalytic combustion technology and features a ceramic glass viewing area with an airwash system for a clearer view of the fire. It delivers up to 65,000 BTU/h with dry cordwood and offers a maximum burn time of up to 6 hours, with a 6-inch flue collar and refractory brick-lined firebox.

The stove is approved for alcove installation and mobile homes when used with the appropriate fresh air intake. Top heat deflector and side panels help manage heat around the appliance, while the standard pedestal provides a raised freestanding installation.
