Description

Ventis 5-Inch Fresh Air Intake Kit for Wood Burning Fireplace Inserts

The Ventis 5-Inch Fresh Air Intake Kit provides a dedicated source of outside air for compatible wood burning fireplace inserts. By supplying combustion air from outdoors rather than relying on air from the room, the kit can help reduce negative pressure issues and unwanted cold air infiltration in tighter homes.

The AC01298 is designed for Ventis wood burning inserts including the HEI90, HEI170, HEI240, and HEI350. For the HEI170, the intake adapter can be installed on either the right or left side of the unit, with the unused side covered by the provided plate.

The kit includes the fresh air intake adapter, pipe clamps, outside wall termination, and screws. The flexible intake pipe is not included and must be supplied separately for installation. AC01298 is an optional accessory rather than part of the standard HEI170 fireplace insert package.
