Ventis HEI240 28-Inch Large Black Wood Fireplace Insert With Blower

The Ventis HEI240 is a large wood burning fireplace insert designed to heat spaces from 500 to 2,100 square feet. Its 2.4 cubic foot firebox accommodates logs up to 20 inches long, while the single ceramic glass door with cast iron frame provides a broad view of the fire.

The HEI240 uses non-catalytic combustion technology with a stainless-steel secondary-air system, air-wash glass system, refractory brick-lined firebox, and vermiculite baffle. It delivers up to 75,000 BTU/h with dry cordwood, provides up to 8 hours of burn time, and achieves 77% optimum efficiency with an average particulate emissions rate of 1.54 g/h.

A 144 CFM blower is included to help circulate heat from the insert. The HEI240 also includes an exterior-air intake adapter and features a 6-inch flue collar. A regular 29 x 44-inch or large 34 x 50-inch faceplate is required to complete the installation and is sold separately, along with optional fresh-air intake, firescreen, and liner accessories.
