Ventis HES240 27-Inch Large Black Wood Stove With Pedestal

The Ventis HES240 is a large freestanding wood stove designed to heat spaces from 500 to 2,100 square feet. Its pedestal base, black finish, and single glass door with cast iron frame provide a durable traditional appearance, while the 2.4 cubic foot firebox accommodates logs up to 20 inches long.

The HES240 uses non-catalytic combustion technology with a stainless-steel secondary-air system and refractory brick-lined firebox. It delivers up to 75,000 BTU/h with dry cordwood, provides up to 8 hours of burn time, and achieves 77% optimum efficiency with an average particulate emission rate of 1.54 g/h.

The stove features a ceramic glass viewing area, vermiculite baffle, top heat deflector, side panels, stainless-steel heat shield, and ash drawer with safety lid. It is approved for alcove and mobile-home installations when the required fresh-air intake is used. A variable-speed blower, rigid firescreen, and 5-inch fresh-air intake kit are available separately.
